terrible at the layoffs. i've got a ton of friends over citi, but i would be happy if i was a shareholder. something we're asking of our politicians, they can't do that. but citigroup's management was willing to take the hard medicine for the shareholders. we hear endless negativity about china and europe, but the chinese market last night, it was a gigantic move signifying what might be the beginning of a new growth phase. have you checked european stocks lately? smoke show. hey, even i can get too gloomy. i've been critical of bank of america for the unfathomable top dollar acquisitions, including the ill-timed merrill lynch purchase and the country wide buy. one gigantic law firm with a bank attached. that's how much their earnings have been dependent upon legal obligations. and that's what cuts them. bank of america led the dow today, broke out above $10. a level hasn't been seen in ages as the unsold homes dwindles, i think it probably goes higher. here's the bottom line, listen to me, go ahead, be gloomy, you have every right. be critical, and be angry at those who can't rise above

already in the 60s kansas city dallas and antonio. new york city on the mild side current temperature at 50 degrees. when you factor in the warm temperatures and humidity in place we are going to have to deal with areas of dense fog and that's the story across portions of great lakes in chicago, portions of the southeast and city of new orleans part of southern texas so we can be see can the weather related tropical delays. take it easy out there. across portions of the midwest coastal areas of the southeast. 82 degrees will be the high temperature in dallas.antonio. upper 50s in new york city. upper 60s in the city of chicago. very unseasonable for this time of year. we are looking at upper 70s in the city of phoenix. we are looking at areas in the midwest. that frontal system exiting the rockies into portions of the dakotas and nebraskas. not a big deal with showers and storms. behind that system is when you start to notice a bit of a cool down in temperatures. we have showers through the northeast overnight now drying out and dealing with warm temperatures. heather and patty ann ev

san francisco green party and the local grass-roots organization "our city". hopefully you have read the email, all of you that advocates sent. there are concerns about okaying this very kind of light framework today that doesn't have a lot of detail in it. i want to start out to get to those concerns about talking about what commissioner torres raised in the code of conduct with pg&e. we saw during the 2010 prop 16 attack on the clean energy programs and community choice in california that it didn't matter that pg&e didn't use rate payer funds they were able to argue that entire $46 million plus campaign was funded by their stockholders, so they are going to run a multi-million dollar robust campaign in san francisco against this program, and it looks like their plan to roll out the 100% green project hits about the same time we roll this out at the end of 2013. i think that's the timeline for them, and it's very important to note that if we go forward prematurely with a marketing plan that is not based on good robust outreach to people of color, low income communities, people of

degrees in rapid city and seeing temps around 20 to 25 above average and areas of south dakota, 35 degrees above your average, very warm temps there and we still have our problems across parts of the west and the next storm moving into northern california and this one is a very strong one. very significant rain will fall here, some areas eight inches of rain and a lot of the rivers in central california concerned about flooding for today and tonight. and this storm storms by tomorrow, and another one comes in on tuesday, wednesday, lingers a little into thursday and then dry things out and this is the most potent of all and mostly rain, another warm system, but a steady stream of tropical moisture and it will bring light showers throughout parts of the ohio valley, to the great lakes, tonight and this afternoon. and behind it, temps are going to warm up a lot. in fact, today, the temps are extremely warm, across most of the country and pretty much the entire country is above where your average temps are this time of year and tomorrow, we'll see this heat builds further, getting to 61, dlee

toward really slimming down citi by the new ceo. he has a quote in here saying these actions are logical next steps in citi's transformation and says they're committed to strategy that continues to leverage in the global banking market. if you go through the list of where these jobs are actually coming from, institutional clients group which is investment banking a quarter of the job cuts are going to come from there. my 2013 predictions i said that group would slim down by half. interesting that they are cutting a big chunk of that group. global consumer banking is responsible for 35% of the cuts and then going on through the other business lines like citi holdings, those are responsible for smaller portion of those jobs. citi getting smaller. a billion dollars going to be the pretax charge in the fourth quarter of next year. 11,000 jobs a big move from the new ceo over there. carl? >> all right. thank you very much, kayla. we're reading through the release right now ourselves. big strategic move. >> how many people work at this bank? i feel like they've been firing forever. citi did no
